I’m Rachel, business owner, leadership trainer, author, and novelty junkie.
In a world where productivity is becoming a key definition of personal success, I’ve discovered that the quest for novelty is the best way to recenter your life and redefine productivity around what matters.

It can be a small shift on the norm or a big new idea.

Data tells us that novel experiences timestamp your life, slowing it down and making memorable moments that create serotonin on recollection. The data also says that novelty strengthens relationships when you do novel things with other people, causing shared experiences, inside jokes, and bonding opportunities. Novel experiences can also help with the mental deterioration that accompanies aging.
This year, I’m experimenting with a life of novelty, trying to do 100 novel things to celebrate entering a new decade. I’ll be doing research on how to redefine my own definition of productivity, experience what else the world has to offer in novelty, and invite you, me community, to explore with me.
Novel experiences all around us, and they’re easy to find once we start looking. So come with me, and join the novelty club!
